TRP Vector Straps available now

The brand new, hand built Vector straps are now available via the TRP Camera Straps Page HERE for $27 delivered ($33 outside of the US).  They’re light weight, low profile and comfortable wrist straps for any camera.  Utilizing very high end materials, I’ve chosen to build these with both comfort and function in mind.  They’re great when wanting to keep weight and bulk down, comfort up all while maintaining a casual, modern look.

The Vector Straps are now available along with the Garda and Cascade Straps.  Come on in to see who won free straps from our social media giveaway…

The third style of wrist strap, now available for sale directly, the Vector adds a low profile, soft, comfortable and supple wrist strap for shooters looking to keep weight down without compromising comfort and security.  The Vector straps are built from a 24 plait braided blend of high tenacity polyester, vectran and cordura.  This is a rope cover, traditionally used over a core material, but for our purposes here, it does well to stay light, strong and comfortable.  Developed for high end sailing applications, this modern nautical line can withstand abuse while looking good.  I’m actually using one on an underwater housing, and it has done wonderfully as this material is designed to retain as little moisture as possible.  The Vector strap won’t shy away from the elements.  One thing I’ve really appreciated about the Vector straps is that with multiple cameras in my bag, I can quickly and easily find which one I want to grab by my strap color.

As with the Cascade straps, the Vector is built using a heavy duty 170lb test split ring to securely fit to any strap lug, and using a high strength rubber O ring, it allows you to adjust the snugness of the strap on the fly.  The strap itself is hand spliced into a secure loop, fixed with high strength polyester whipping thread.

Over the last week, I had a social media driven giveaway.  Thank you to everyone who participated, tagged, tweeted and posted about the straps.  One day, when I become wealthy from my now fledgling camera strap business, I’ll try to give more away to those who have been so supportive.  For now, I get to give away three.  Those three winners are…

Congrats to Jeremy, Theresa and Cinval!  Your straps will be on the way shortly.

Thank you all for the support, and if you missed last week’s post, I’m giving away any strap that I build to anyone who refers three wrist strap sales.  Just make sure to let your friends and family know they need to give me your name and email address so that I can keep track for you.  Once I get three referred sales, I’ll build you whatever strap you’d like, delivered for free to you, anywhere in the world.  This was my way to get the word out on a tight budget, and try to help reward those of us who are spreading the word.  You help me, I’ll help you.  If you’ve already referred a friend or family member, email me, and have them email me, I’ll jot that down for you too.  A retroactive program as it were.

  1. Oh what a duh. you’ve already drawn the winner. I’ll make a decision whether to get one or two then purchase it. BTW, what would the postage be if I bought 2?
