I know, I know. I don’t want to bombard anyone with sales and promo posts, but it has been difficult with just about everything on sale right now. Queue the Adorama sale on most every Panasonic micro 4/3 lens HERE. Up to $200 off of lenses through the 21st, if you’ve been waiting for a sale, here it is. You know I don’t like to promote stuff unless I actually have used it, approve of it and like it, and in this case, I’d say it’s very relevant.
Come on in if you’re interested in seeing what I’ve had to say about the Panasonic lenses I use for the micro 4/3 system…

While there are many others, here are a few of the many lenses on sale with my article reviews for those interested.
I’m still in the constantly evolving process of reviewing this lens, and currently writing a comparison piece between this lens and the 14mm and 20mm pancakes. That will be done soon, but if you want to see a little bit about my first thoughts on this little system gem, you can read more HERE.
Panasonic-Leica Summilux 15mm f/1.7 $50 off (Adorama)
Aside from the Leica branded 42.5mm f/1.2 lens (see that one HERE at Adorama, currently $200 off!) this is the fastest native AF micro 4/3 mount lens, and it is a beauty. People rightly point to the Olympus 25mm f/1.8 lens as smaller and lighter, which it is and great in its own right, but look to any system to see the difference between a standard f/1.8 optic and a standard f/1.4 optic to see why that 2/3 of a stop provides an important gap. I still think it might be the best overall lens for the system with beautiful color, contrast and speed. You can read my initial thoughts on why I chose this lens HERE.
Panasonic-Leica Summilux 25mm f/1.4 $50 off (Adorama)
I’ve long been a fan of the Lumix 20mm pancake. It is a beautiful balance of size, quality and speed. Many like to bash this lens for “slow AF” which I don’t find to be particularly hindering at all, largely overstated, and easily overlooked when looking at its qualities. See my comparison between the original and newer version 2 HERE.
Lumix 20mm f/1.7 $80 off (Adorama)
The super tele monster. In no other system can you find what this lens provides at this price. With an added $100 off, it is a value coup. I am going to be testing this lens against the newer Oly 40-150mm f/2.8 + TC1.4x, which isn’t a direct replacement in focal range, but a popular system choice, and a choice I’m going to need to be making soon. My gut? I think that the 100-300 will fare very well, especially considering the price disparity between the two. See my review on the 100-300mm HERE.
Lumix 100-300 f/4-5.6 $100 off (Adorama)
There are other deals, I’ve just not personally reviewed the lenses in question yet, so head over the Adorama via the link below to see everything that is currently on sale through February 21st. The links include here are through my affiliate links at Adorama which, as I’m sure you know, provide me with a small commission if purchased through. I greatly appreciate any consideration in doing so. It doesn’t cost any more, but gives me a little to keep buying stuff to review and share, keeping the blog going, so thank you in advance.

Thanks Mrreeee. I have been traveling all day and just got around to fixing it. And now I know how to do some simple code writing via my phone, so that’s in my bag of tricks now 😊
Should be working now, fingers crossed.

Oh man my WordPress app was playing up so didn’t see the post. Not that I can partake in the deal but I enjoyed your opinions lenses. I really want the 25mm and have for a while, one day I’ll have it and it’ll be the perfect pair with my gx7 (which again I’ve fallen in love with and gotten over the size issue, which let’s face it isn’t that big compared to canon and nixon).
Cool post man. Cheers, can’t wait for the 15mm comparison

I feel like WordPress is changing the interface every other week which is pissing me off 🙂 I hate it when developers feel the need to change it just for the sake of changing it which inevitably happens just as most folks get used to working through the previous changes. Well, can’t complain too much seeing as it’s all free to use I guess 😉
